Although I had worn them plenty before, I didn’t understand the ROLE that they played in my outfits until he pointed it out:

The third piece pulls your look together and gives it a polished, intentional vibe.

It’s different from a coat because a coat is something you plan to take off. But a third piece? It’s PART of the outfit.
