Coordinating everyone’s outfits for family photos can be exhausting.
Add in trying to work in your color palette without looking like a rainbow threw up on your photos, and it’s even harder.
Having done a lot of photo shoots myself, and tried to weave in family members in multiple color seasons and skin tones (and personalities!) I’ve learned a thing or two…
First and foremost, when planning family photo outfits, it’s OK to center yourself a bit.
The last thing you want is to sacrifice your glow to a white sweatshirt that washes you out or a tartan skirt you low-key hate. You deserve to wear something you feel fabulous in, and work the family’s outfits around that.
There are PLENTY of color combos out there that look good and timeless, without sacrificing your glow.
And if you show up on photo day in an outfit you feel hot in, you’ll naturally smile, and everyone will benefit from your energy. You’ll have a wider range of photos that you like to choose from. You’ll think the kids look cute regardless.
