We’re solving 2 summer underwear crises today:
Imagine you’ve found the PERFECT statement-making occasion dress, but have no bra that works with it.
Maybe it has a plunging neckline, is strapless, or has one shoulder. Sh'e’s high-maintanence.
You might say: easy, just skip that dress.
I get that. And that’s me most times, too.
But should we always avoid the beach because of the sand? The mountaintop because of the hike?
Would you wear a knockout dress just for one night, if you could guarantee the girls would sit perky, and you’d feel supported, snatched, and fabulous?
We all deserve our J Lo dress moment, am I right?
I was invited to watch a runway show this week (so fun, right) and I wanted to bring it. It was an occasion that called for this deep plunging dress I’ve been sitting on.
In the past, I’ve played fast and loose with a potential nip slip in this because what choice did I have? There is no bra THAT low! Or so I thought.
Cue Spanx, with the EXACT shapewear I needed. Like a girls girl in fabric form, this plunge bodysuit held me up. The girls were lifted and separated, plus it had built-in anti-chafe shorts. I can’t tell you how confident I felt!
I would normally be a lil nervous to go solo to an NYC fashion event, but I got 3 compliments within one block of my apartment and I just felt like a star. I got some much-appreciated snaps from runway attenders across the room, and was even moved up to be seated closer to the camera. WORTH ITTTTT.
